Draft 5

One of the greatest challenges Narayanan and Kumari had to overcome was moving from india to the Sri lanka. The British forced them to leave their family.Narayanan and Kumari were friends for a long time since the time they were brought to Sri Lanka fron India to work in tea plantations.Sri Lanka was a British colony and the Tamils were slaves to them. They were forced by the British to work everyday without fail with only little time to rest too.Narayanan and Kumari were tired of this and tried to stop work but when they saw how a fellow friend got tortured for not doing his work they changed their mind.

Many years passed and Sri Lanka finally gained independence.Narayanan and kumari were overjoyed with excitement;they were finally released from the torture that they had to suffer. But the worst has yet to come.Since Sri Lanka was mostly made out of Sinhalese people the government was made out of them too. This caused them to be overly annoyed. The government was not a good one and this caused many tempers to flare between the races in Sri Lanka. There were many things they did.Firstly they only gave citizenship to Sinhalese people and a minority to other races so this caused many people to be stateless.Secondly they were extremely unfair and always gave the Sinhalese priority. This made the Indian Tamils very angry and annoyed. But Narayanan and Kumari were the minority who were lucky to get citizenship.

Narayanan and kumari lived together for 2 years and finally decided to get married. After a few months there was a new policy made by the government and the policy was called the resettlement policy. This policy meant that all the Tamils in Sri Lanka were to move to higher grounds where most of the tea plantations were.Narayanan and kumari did not mind because they were already living there. But Narayanan and Kumari were tired of working in tea plantations and went to get a job in the city and since they knew English they did not have to wait long. They got a job as a sales promoter and they were happy with it.Once when they were working at noon they saw Tamil protesters walking past outside the store and they told themselves that they were never going to stoop to such a low level no matter how they suffered.

Years passed quickly without any hardship.Narayanan and Kumari were happy parents with two beautiful twin sons. Both of them tried to work overtime everyday because they wanted to save early for their sons school fees because they had to start now as their pay was too low.Their dreams were smashed when the government wanted to change their official language to Sinhala. They did not know sinhala and this caused them to lose their job.But they gave three years grace for a person to learn sinhala.Since they did not have a choice they decided to learn it and they made their children learn it too as schools taught students in sinhala too. They were angry with the government but not to the extent to protest against them.

The final straw came after 16 long years. The government wanted to change the criteria for the university admissions and their blood started to boil as their sons were just a few months away to enter university. The criteria said that the Sinhalese were given priority to enter universities even if they got lower marks than a Tamil person. Both of them were fuming mad and they were not the only people all the Tamils were angry with them and all of them started to protest. As usual only a minimum number of students were able to enter and their sons were not the ones. This made them very angry and caused them to hate the Sinhalese.

They lived with anger for 4 years and the Tamils finally came to a decision to create a civil war with the Sinhalese. They created a group called the Tamil United Liberation Front and the war started.Since their children did not finish their studies and they they were enraged with anger they decided to let their children join the group and this caused a happy family to turn into freedom fighters. Is this the end of all the happy family's in Sri Lanka? Or is this the beginning of a new war?

summary

Hurricane Katrina had the most devastating impact on Louisiana where it damages the wetlands. The vegetation might not grow back and the vegetation along water sources disappeared. Whatever remains that were left turned brown. Katrina affected local sea harvests and deceased oysters by two-thirds. US increased imported oysters and fishermen who depended on the oyster industries were unemployed and unsettled. Floodwater was contaminated by household chemicals and affected underground gas and oil tanks. Human corpses and dead pets also increased the risk of bacterial contamination. Dredged materials for platform for the plants to grow on were placed and the Louisiana Coastal Area Ecosystem Restoration Plan plans to rebuild barrier islands and replant lost marsh grass.

Maria was like a mother to the younger Janina whom lost both parents. Janina would bury herself in the older girl's skirt as the bombs exploded .She was like a mother .Maria was like a mother to the younger Janina. Both suffered from cancer, Maria had breast cancer, Janina is separated while Maria is a widow. She contacted the Yad Vashem Holocaust museum in Jerusalem to recognize Maria and her parents for saving her during WWI those cash can improve Maria’s financial situation.

Discussion on mechanical engineering

Do you know what mechanical engineering is? Many people think that all these people do is to just build and further develop things. But they are wrong! Mechanical engineers not only build and further develop things they also research, develop, design and manufacture. This shows how important these engineers are to us. Furthermore, many of these things such as refrigeration, air-conditioning equipment, machine tools, material handling systems, elevators and escalators, industrial production equipment, and robots used in manufacturing are further developed by them. Without them this machineries are not useful enough because they are not updated enough to the current technology. I like their job very much because it is very cool and they can get to work with all this cool machinery everyday and they get to change these items to suit the current life style of people. Mechanical engineering is not a simple engineering job either because mechanical engineering is also one of the broadest and oldest engineering disciplines in Singapore. Mechanical Engineering is an engineering discipline that involves the application of principles of physics for analysis, design, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. Now you understand more about mechanical engineering and this must have changed your mindset about it.

Information About a Mechanical Engineer

My desire is to be a mechanical engineer. I like mechanical engineers because they research, develop, design, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines, and other mechanical devices. They also work on power-producing machines such as electric generators, internal combustion engines, and steam and gas turbines. They also develop power-using machines such as refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment, machine tools, material handling systems, elevators and escalators, industrial production equipment, and robots used in manufacturing. These are things that are around you and are very important. So you should thank these engineers. Furthermore, they also design tools that other engineers need for their work. The field of nanotechnology, which involves the creation of high-performance materials and components by integrating atoms and molecules, is introducing entirely new principles to the design process. Mechanical engineering is not just one industry. Mechanical engineers work in many industries, and their work varies by industry and function. Some specialize in energy systems; applied mechanics; automotive design; manufacturing; materials; plant engineering and maintenance; pressure vessels and piping; and heating, refrigeration, and air-conditioning systems. Mechanical engineering is one of the broadest engineering disciplines. From this you can interpret that mechanical engineering is not just an any other ordinary job.

About Me

I am Rijwan and I am a typical student who likes to play a lot and talk alot.I like to play sports and my favorite one is soccer. I have been playing soccer since nine years old and I haven't stopped since then. But my school does not have soccer as a CCA.So I joined NCC instead. I joined NCC because they said they would play soccer during the physical training. My second favorite sport is running. I like running because it keeps me healthy and fit .I don like sports such as captain ball because I am sick and tired of playing the same old thing again and again during my physical education .This shows that I like to try out new things .My hobby is to play computer games during my free time and playing soccer which I mentioned earlier. I used to play soccer after my school ends everyday but now I have stopped because I am getting busier as the days pass by. In school I usually like to chat with my friends during the break time but some times I talk to them during lessons .I like to hang around with my friends after school too. My favorite thing to do after school is to go home and sleep.
